What happens on your Mac
stays on your Mac.

Overview

Glimpse is designed to view images stored on your Mac. It does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information.

Your images and folders

Glimpse accesses only folders that you explicitly choose or open with the app. Images are decoded and displayed locally. Their contents, filenames, paths, and metadata are not uploaded to MVGrafx or any third party.

macOS security-scoped bookmarks may be stored locally so that Glimpse can reopen folders listed under Open Recent. Clearing the recent-folder list removes those saved bookmarks.

App preferences

Preferences such as filmstrip position, zoom behavior, deletion confirmation, and minimized-preview privacy are stored locally using macOS user defaults. They are not transmitted elsewhere.

File operations

When instructed, Glimpse can move an image to the Trash or delete it immediately. These operations occur directly on your Mac. Glimpse asks for confirmation according to your preferences; permanent deletion always requires confirmation.

Analytics, advertising, and networking

Glimpse contains no advertising, analytics SDKs, tracking technologies, or cloud services. The app does not make network requests as part of normal operation.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or other tracking scripts. Your hosting provider may process standard server logs under its own policies.

Changes to this policy

If Glimpse’s data practices change, this page will be updated before the corresponding app release. The revision date above will identify the latest version.
